At iPlusHost we feel your data security is of the utmost importance. We have discovered a critical operating system kernel vulnerability that has the potential to lead to unauthorized access beyond the server environment provisioned and could lead to unauthorized access to your data. This flaw does not yet have a proof of concept attack, however we feel the potential for such an attack is an intolerable situation in which to put our customers. As a result we will be performing rolling restarts of all Cloud servers in Zone A and Zone B in order to put in place a kernel not vulnerable to this attack. We will be performing these restarts from the hours of 00:00 EDT on Friday May 3 through approximately 08:00 AM the same day. We expect the downtime for any one affected server to be limited to less than 20 minutes. We do apologize for the inconvenience this causes you, we understand how burdensome this can be, however the protection of our customers is always our highest priority.
